Quality, SHE and Risk Management
Quality and risk management forms part of MOTLA in the sense that these aspects are not separate activities, but can rather be defined as the primary activities to plan, execute and manage projects.
MOTLA continuously strives to improve and ensure that all work is executed under strict quality requirements. Therefore, management has incorporated ISO 9001 standards and guidelines into MOTLA’s quality management system, and are involved constantly in the ISO 9001 process to ensure accreditation.
MOTLA defines quality and risk management as follows:
Quality management focuses on the capability and capacity of the department as such, as well as the planning, execution and management of consulting engineering projects. To withstand detracting factors, quality management objectives will be pursued by explicitly structuring a number of processes based on standard procedures and preeminent criteria.
Risk management focuses on the demands that risks impose on the performance of consulting engineering projects and the sustainability of the department as such. Objectives for risk management will be pursued by explicitly identifying the risks that are involved, evaluating its occurrence and mitigating the impact through structured procedures and accepted norms.
SHE management focuses on the demands that safety, health and the environment impose on the performance of consulting engineering projects. This includes ensuring the sustainability of the company’s employees and establishing an environment of engineering projects to add to the growth and financial stability of MOTLA in the long run.
MOTLA defines the quality and risk objectives as follow:
Quality, SHE and Risk Management with regards to the Company and the Operations Management Department is to implicitly ensure that the department is sufficiently robust and well enough cared for to continuously realize enough resources and competent skills for the successful implementation of engineering projects to add to the growth and financial stability of MOTLA in the long run.
Quality, SHE and Risk Management with regards to the planning, execution and management of consulting engineering projects is to implicitly ensure that these projects are performing the intended task adhere to client’s needs and ensure that each project is completed on the intended/planned date and cost.
